Sometimes we just have a hunch about whether or not a scammer will pay any attention or not.
We received this and didn’t expect much.

We assumed that no one would try to pursue a scam claiming to represent the estate of the late Mr. von Niederhoffentanger.
Clearly, as the missive below indicates, we were mistaken. We checked with Bing and Google. The name von Niederhoffentanger is not common at all.
Nevertheless, Mr. Huang is pressing forward with his scheme.
