Something to Chew on

Something to Chew on.

Our writer today exhibits much more style than is normal in these solicitations.

We are almost convinced by a quick read, almost – well not really. Mr. Chew has set the bar higher than most of his fellow writers, but did he set it high enough to reach validity or could this be a Fraud?

Aside from the shouting, this is a better opening than most, no fluffed up organizations or lengthy titles, but the address should be info@un.org, perhaps in his excitement Mr. Chew had an episode of dyslexia.

We appreciate that Mr. Chew took the time to find a proper UN symbol, well done.

We might forgive Mr. Chew for his lack of linguistic skills, were they spaced apart a little further. Here we have back to back failures.

Here, once again, we have an extraordinary claim about the beneficence of the United Nations regarding everyone who may have been scammed by anyone, anywhere, at any time and for any reason.

We have a database of victims and that is why we are contacting you,
this has been deliberated upon and is among our set of priorities

It is comforting to know that giving us $500,000 will bring so much happiness into the world. We would have thought that perhaps getting Somalia under control might be more pressing, but who are we to judge?

Our writer, who we have been assuming to be Mr. Chew, was doing fairly well up to here. We fear his train of thought has gone off the tracks. In only very rare cases is Michael spelled Micheal and usually those cases are misspellings. Perhaps Mr. Chew’s dyslexia has flared up. The SME Bank seems to be in Islamabad, Pakistan, not in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Once again we are offered an ATM card as a possible solution, we are always suspicious of those offerings.

Therefore, you should send him your full Name, telephone number, present occupation, a valid mailing address where you would prefer your payment to be sent.

Mr. Chew merely asks for our information and does not insult our intelligence with the usual malformed form and his request for information eschews the usual unusual requests.

He seems determined to spell Michael incorrectly, doesn’t he? With the UN and SME bank to choose from, why would he use an AOL email address? Are you hiding something, Mr. Chew?

Mr. Chew ends with another legitimate looking graphic. All in all his presentation seems impressive, as long as one doesn’t take the time to read it.

Mr. Chew, those who are about to delete, salute you. Chew on that, Mr. Chew.

We urge you as well, should you hear from Mr. Chew do not respond, there is no money. There is only deceit, for this is a Fraud.

Jois us next time for “What ever happened to Elliot Ness?” here at HowToSpot AFraud.com.

That is all.
