Very interesting. For little or no effort on our part we shall become Chinese textile tycoons. A sustainable income of $65,000 per year, with little or no effort on our part.

Still, we must take a closer look. There is a big difference between tycoon and buffoon. Remember, this could be a Fraud.

Curiously, these people actually had our email address correct. Additionally, there appears to be a Wujiang Wanlida Textile Company. They exhibit more initiative than usual for this sort of thing. Of course, we have a website as well, so much for credibility.

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is my pleasure to write you in respect of our Company Wanlida Textile Co., Ltd.Based No.6 The Third District Nanshan Road, Shengze, Wujiang City, Jiangsu Province. China. We are experts in the sale of Textile materials; we export into the Canada/America and parts Europe..We got your email through Business Directory. In our just concluded Annual General Meeting (AGM).

They’ve even taken the time to cut and past the address from the company’s website, very industrious. We can not imagine what sort of business directory we would be listed in or what we would be listed as. Despite their claims of expertise, they posses a very strange concept of how businesses operate.

I, as the CEO of this multinational company hereby relate with you because of the communication problem faced by most of our Board Members, since many of them cannot read, speak or write English language except Chinnese which is our official language . In view of this you are expected to relate directly with me as the company representative since i decieded to contact you and give them frequent update about our activities. Most of our customers have problem in making payment to us as we do not run foreign accounts.

Well, you learn something new everyday, I would never have guessed that Chinese was the official language of China. To further puff up our importance, we are being taken into his confidence. We find it strange that a company selling to foreign accounts is unable to run foreign accounts. Perhaps we are being too picky.

About 90 percent of our customers prefer to pay through Certified Cheques and Money orders or bank transfers based on the amount involved.

That’s been our experience as well. Most customers prefer to pay through obscure and antiquated methods.Your Task
We have decided to open this new job position for solving this problem.

Your tasks are;
1. Recieve payment from Customers
2. Cash Payments at your Bank
3. Deduct 10% which will be your percentage/pay on Payment processed

Sound simple enough, what could go wrong. Oh, wait. It could take as long as three weeks for the check to clear or, more likely, not. During that time we will have wired away 90% of the check. If the check turns out to be a fraud, we will owe the bank 100% of the check’s face value. Maybe that’s why they want us to cash the checks rather than take a chance on them themselves.

Local Money transfers takes barely hours, so it will give us a possibility
to get customer’s payment almost immediately. For example you’ve got
3000.00USD. You take your income : 300.00 USD. Send to us: 2700.00 USD.

5410.00 USD per month.

This is partly true. They will get the wired money almost immediately and irrevocably. The transfers can’t be undone. The fraudulent check, however, may not go bad for several weeks. We think we shall have to decline the offer.

After establishing a close co-operation with us you’ll be able to operate
with larger orders and you’ll be able to earn more. Our payments will be
issued out in your name and you can have them cashed in your bank or other
Cashing Services.

Why would some legitimate business purchasing fabric from a supplier in China make payments to an individual in another country? We have some familiarity with the textile industry and are certain that this is not how things are done.

Deduct your weekly salary and foward the balance to the company via western union money transfer or moneygram money transfer. We understand it is an unusual and incredible job position. This job takes only 3-7 hours per
week. You’ll have a lot of free time doing another job, you’ll get good

We, too, feel that it is an unusual position. We would have used incredulous rathre than incredible, however. We don’t know about the good income but suspect that if one passes enough bad checks, one might find oneself gainfully employed making license plates at a government-run home for the criminally inane.

Please, do not respond to Mr. Shao. Put the brakes on your plans to communicate with Mr. Brakes. Read the message, shake your head sadly and consign the email to the great bit bucket in the sky.

This is a Fraud.
