Knocking on Heaven’s Door

Knocking on Heaven’s Door

Today we received a plaintive plea from a penitent patient.

Subject: Dearly Beloved in Christ,

My Dear Beloved One,

It is by the grace of God that I received Christ,Having known the truth, I had no choice than to do what is lawful and right in the sight of God for enternal life and in the sight of man for witness of God?s mercy and glory upon my life.

I am Evangelist Mrs Rebecca Van Horn, age 53 and the wife of Mr Dan Van Horn,i am from Netherlands, my husband worked with the Chevron/Texaco for twenty years before he died in the year 2003.We were married for twenty-nine years without a child.

My Husband died after a brief illness that lasted or only four days. Before his death we were both born again Christians. Since his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of US $9.5million dollars.(Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand U.S. Dollars) with a Security and finance Company, this money is still with the Security and finance Company and the management just wrote me as the beneficiary to come forward to sign for the release of this money or rather issue! That somebody to receive it onmy behalf if I can not come over.

Presently, I’m in a hospital in Netherlands where I have been undergoing treatment for cancer of the breast and Pneumonia. I have since lost my ability to talk and my doctors have told me that I have only a few weeks to live. It is my last wish to see this money distributed to charity organizations anywhere in the World. Because relatives and ! friends. I want a person that is God fearing that will use this money to fund churches, orphanages and widows propagating the word of God and to ensure that the house of God is maintained.

The Bible made us to understand that blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I don’t have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and I don’t want my husband’s hard earned money to be misused by unbelievers.I don’t want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly manner.I am afraid since so many things are happening in the world now, like:hurricanes, earthquakes, bird flu and the Innocent and homeless people of the Tsunami disaster.I just want you to be open minded and help me so that my funds can make a great change in the affected people’s lives.

Hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord.Exodus 14 VS 14 says!! that the lord will fight my case

I anxiously wait your response

Mrs. Horn would like us to manage her fortune for the benefit of the poor and downtrodden. It appears that Mrs. Horn has held on to this money for eight years. Now that she is dying she suddenly seems to feel that perhaps the money should be used for the benefit of all mankind and has chosen us to do the work.

Thank you, Mrs. Horn, but we feel there is something amiss.

Could this be a Fraud.

Subject: Dearly Beloved in Christ,

Once again we have been mistaken for the good Christian, Undisclosed Recipients, who ever he may be.

My Dear Beloved One,

Trowelling it on a bit thick, aren’t we?

It is by the grace of God that I received Christ,Having known the truth, I had no choice than to do what is lawful and right in the sight of God for enternal life and in the sight of man for witness of God?s mercy and glory upon my life.

We are not sure what Mrs. Horn is trying to say here.

I am Evangelist Mrs Rebecca Van Horn, age 53 and the wife of Mr Dan Van Horn,i am from Netherlands, my husband worked with the Chevron/Texaco for twenty years before he died in the year 2003.We were married for twenty-nine years without a child.

We always marvel at the level of unnecessary detail that is conveyed in these messages.

It appears that now, after eight years, the security company needs to get rid of the nine million is a hurry. We also, in spots, are still not clear on what Mrs. Horn is writing.

Mrs. Horn, poor creature that she is, appears to be unable to find anyone in the Netherlands who would have any idea how to get her money from the security company into the hands of a reputable charity anywhere in the Netherlands. She seems to have some sort of difficulty with relatives and friends, but once again, we are not sure what Mrs. Horn is writing.

It seems to us that every time a disaster strikes, similar to those enumerated by Mrs. Horn, it is nearly impossible to avoid thousands of legitimate organizations asking for help on behalf of the victims, except apparently, in whatever small corner of the Netherlands Mrs. Horn has been sequestered or the past eight years. What are the news broadcasts  like where she is: “A disaster struck in ABCville today, but don’t worry about the thousands of victims, they’re good, and in other news…..” As far as her husband’s hard earned money is concerned, he worked for an oil company, how hard earned could it be?

Hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord.Exodus 14 VS 14 says!! that the lord will fight my case

We are fairly certain that Mrs. Horn will be waiting for a long time or the rest of her life, whichever occurs first. Exodus 14:14 is similar to Mrs. Horn’s statement above, but that is as close to the truth as she has ventured.

Yours in Christ,

Mrs Rebecca Van Horn

I anxiously wait your response

Mrs. Horn, if you are as ill as you claim to be, please do not hold your breath waiting for our reply. As to the question of where you are going, we offer the flowing destination: the recycle bin.

Should Mrs. Horn come begging in your mailbox, just ignore her pleas, please. Do not feel bad. Have no regrets. For this is a Fraud.

P.S. We are still awaiting a reply from S.A Flockhart, but we think we scared him away.

That is all.
